Sofa Surf

Moving from one sofa to the next is now a viable way to travel for so many people. It’s all about finding people who will be happy to host you. There are now websites that are dedicated to this, and you often don’t have to pay anything at all to spend a night on someone’s sofa. It’s definitely something that’s worth looking into if you’ve never considered it before.

House Sitting

House sitting is all about taking care of someone’s house while they’re away. It couldn’t be simpler; the homeowner will save money and you’ll save money too because you’ll have free accommodation. It’s the perfect way to explore a place without having to spend any money at all on the place you’re staying at.

Head East

When you head further east, you’re more likely to have your money stretch further. It’s one of the best reasons to explore places in Eastern Europe. Places like Poland are cheap to visit, and your money can go a really long way in countries like Romania, Estonia and Latvia. These are beautiful countries with a lot to offer too, so don’t rule them out.

Go Camping

Camping is the perfect way for you to engage with nature once more and enjoy the simple life when you’re travelling. The beauty of the great outdoors will be more than enough to replace any of the modern comforts that you might usually crave when you’re travelling. All you need is a tent, sleeping bags, a stove and your car fitted with a rack, and you can learn more about that by following the link. There’s no need for anything more.

Staying With an Old Friend

If you have an old friend that lives in another part of the world, why not get back in touch and go visit them? It could give you the chance to explore a place that you’ve never been to before and you won’t have to pay for hotels or accommodation when you’re there.

Travelling and seeing the world the cheap way is definitely possible, so don’t listen to anyone who tells you it isn’t. You just need to find the right ways to travel and not worry about the little things. Each of these travel ideas will help you to get the most out of your travels and not have to deal with the huge dent in your bank balance.
